ANKARA: The Turkish capital is strategically situated in Central Anadol and was proclaimed such by the founder of the Turkish Republic – Mustafa Kemal Atatyrk. Although it has a modern look nowadays, the city has an old history dating back to the Bronze era and the Civilization of the Hets. The town was named in the 3rd century B., when the gals inhabited these places and when constructing the town found an old anchor / anker /. Having a long century history, after the first World War the town played an important role in the revolution of the” young Turks”. The town was proclaimed the capital of the republic of Turkey on the 13 of October, 1923. Among the places of interest in Ankara are the Mausoleum of Atatyurk, the Museum of the Anatolian civilizations, the Mosque of Allaeddin, the old citadel, the Roman terms, the Column of Julian, etc.

CAPADOCIA: Passing through the district center of Nevshekir it is entering into the natural phenomena of Capadocia. The strange moon like landscape is a result of volcanic activities in the region, which have formed these strange rocks of lava and ash.  The modern town of Gyoreme, which was named Capadocia in Roman times, gave its name to this incredible valley. The nowadays view of the valley is a long centuries result of the cooperative work between mother nature and the people’s hands. Ancient inhabitances were carved in the rocks back in 4000 B.C. After that the Christians and the Byzantines dug monasteries and churches, richly decorated with murals.
